Senior Project Manager (all genders)

Your responsibilities
- Act as main contact representing the owner in a professional manner.
- Oversee and coordinate project teams over the course of all project phases from acquisition to hand over
- Ensure design is developed in line with project goals, specs and standards and assignments are executed with technical proficiency, accuracy, and professionalism
- Participation in interviews and selection of perspective consultants, designers and contractors
- Hold contractors responsible in order to deliver project in line with budget, schedule, qualities and quantities
- Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contract document, building code and monitor and assess construction performance
- Conduct constructability reviews
- Proactively uncover, evaluate and mitigate project risks
- Create project schedules and budgets
- Perform quantity takeoffs and cost estimating
- Implement reporting and communication structures in line with company standards
- Commercial oversight of all project related matters incl. assistance of accounting, support funding and financing, create cash flows and perform cost controlling
- Make employee safety a priority both in-house and on-site, in accordance with corporate policy.
- Make sustainable and innovative energy sourcing and client’s ESG requirements a priority
- Inspect properties and buildings and support acquisition process
- Explore new opportunities and potential projects
Your profile
- Technical Background and Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management preferred
- 8-10 years of construction experience either as development manager or owner representative
- Owner’s Project Management work with public and private and hospitality construction projects preferred
- Familiar with interpreting construction drawings, specifications, contracts, estimating and take-offs, and as-built drawings
- Experience with design-built contract environments preferred
- Work in a consultant setting. Track the time and monitoring activities against a budget
- Teamplayer with an open mind, enjoying collaboration with international teams
- Enjoys working in a flexible environment for a young and dynamic company
- Strong and reliable professional network consisting of contractors, consultants and designers/engineers
- Effective Italian and English language skills (oral and written) and able to communicate with coworkers with co-workers, clients, and contractors
- Travel and/or field work at various Italian locations required
- Proficiency or working knowledge of CAD or Construction Project Management software
